You know by now that I'm a big fan of thank you notes, right? I think they make a very important statement, that you're grateful and that you don't take your friend's gift (or their friendship) for granted. They are a great way to nurture a friendship and if you write them correctly, they can also be a cherished letter that your friend will keep and re-read for years.
Well today is National Thank You Note Day, and I can't think of a better day to celebrate this than today. After all, just think about that pile of presents you received over the last couple of days. Choose one or two thank you notes to write out today. You'll make someone very happy (and probably surprise them) if you do.
I write thank you notes a lot just because I really enjoy doing it. When I get one in the mail, it really makes me smile. What about you? Do you write thank you notes?
