Stamped Book Bindings as Gift for a Friend

I can't help thinking that this idea from Martha Stewart is a nice one for the book lover in your life. She suggests stamping on the binding of books to help customize it. She's got some lovely designs on there as an example, but I can also see this working out well by putting a short message on there, or maybe a date. I think the more personal you can make any gift the more special it will be to your friend.

People are always asking me for gift ideas, and this is a good one to take what would be a nice enough gift and ramp it up that much more.
