Author A.A. Milne really had a handle on friendship, which is evident in some of the quotes from Winnie the Pooh, so he has a soft spot in my heart. I often wonder about the life he had growing up, and what types of friendships he had as a boy that inspired him to write.
I was surfing the other night and came across this house that his son, the aptly named Christopher Robin Milne grew up in. The house is just adorable. Here's a description:
"Known as Cotchford Farm, and on the market for the first time in more than 40 years, the Grade II listed estate spans 9.5 acres of lawns, forest, and streams. The six-bedroom main house, the quintessential English country house if there ever was one, is listed for $3.22 million."
Just $3.22 million? LOL! Still, the house looks positively charming.
