Today is officially "Girlfriend's Day," which I think means we should honor the female friends in our life. (Then again, do we ever really need an excuse for this?) I think days like this just help remind us of how important our friends are.
If you're like me, one way to have fun with your friends is by watching movies. I remember so many films just by the people I saw them with. I remember, for example, watching Steel Magnolias with a bunch of my girlfriends, all of us crying our eyes out. I remember saying "I love this movie" over and over to my friend while we watched Return to Me for the first time. I remember turning to my friend at the end of Thelma and Louise, with a look of shock at how it ended. (And she was doing the same.)
