Today is "Love Note Day" which is as good a day as any to think about writing a special note to a friend. I've mentioned my love of handwritten letters here, because I think in today's email world a note penned by your own hand really makes an impact.
A letter or quick note on a card can really make a friend's day. All you need to say is something simple, like:
- You enjoyed the time together you spent last time you saw them.
- You appreciated that they listened to you about a certain issue.
- You just happen to see something that reminded them about you.
- You'd be surprised at how far a nice letter can go when it comes to keeping goodwill in friendship.
