One of the amazing things about sharing your thoughts and opinions is that it helps others who are also going through the same thing. One place to do that is from the article that talks about what to do when friends exclude you. Someone who signed their comment as "Guest Hey there:)" said this:
Hey, I'm in Grade 9 and in Grade 8, me and my two best friends PROMISED that we would never leave each other. During the SECOND month of high school, these two girls completely ditched me and even found a replacement. How sweet, huh? :)
Yeah, they still smile at me from time to time in the hallways, but I think they realize how indifferent I am to them and one of them can't even talk to me anymore.
What I'm trying to say is, I got through it. I made a NEW friend that is smarter than both these two put together. I finally found someone I can hang out with and be myself, and have intellectual conversations with. I found myself always talking about boys and dating and stuff that ninth graders shouldn't even be worried about!
I finally found who I am, and I have 3 years of high school left! The friends you make in elementary school, and high school too, won't be there forever. It's university and working time where you make real friends for life and people are more mature. So hang in there.
