She Won't Budge an Inch

There's a quote from Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew which says, "I'll not budge an inch." That's the way it is sometimes with certain friends. They get stuck on having their way, whether it is the activity you decide to do, the place you meet, or even the time you get together.

Such is the case with a recent question I received, in which the friend asked why it always had to be about the other friend. This person also wondered if someone like that is really a friend or basically someone that spends time with you but doesn't really care about you. Here's my answer.
